This is a beautiful Gianfranco Ferre iridescent purple silk puffer coat with avant garde style. It is from the Fall/Winter 1999 collection, and fits like a gorgeous cocoon coat. The coat has large notched lapels and is open in the front.

This coat has so much style and fits almost like a cape, with arm holes that start almost where sleeve cuffs would normally be. We love Gianfranco Ferre and love what he did while he was at Dior! This coat, under his own label, is a wonderful example of his talent. The person who originally purchased this coat had an incredible wardrobe that included only the best designers of the 20th century and once you put this particular coat on, it will be hard to take it off!!

Some rub spots to fabric near collar and in a few other places - see last photo. The oversized fit would fit sizes small through extra large, up to a 42" bust.
